A Tennessee native, Bryson Shaffer has emerged onto the scene in the short track racing world in the last year. Making his name known at tracks like Nahville Fairgrounds Speedway, Montgomery Motor Speedway and 5 Flags Speedway. Bryson started out racing quarter midgets and Legends cars before jumping into a Pro Late Model car at 16 years old. Now 17, Bryson parked his Clark Family Homes Toyota Camry in the top 5 at the All American weekend in Nashville in 2021 and finished the season with a strong running in his first ever attempt at the Snowlake 100 in Pensacola.

Bryson is looking to run for a Championship this year at both Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway and Montgomery Motor Speedway as well as a few other races mixed in. After a promising 2021 season, Bryson and his team at Bryson Shaffer Motorsports are looking to put together a strong 2022 campaign.

Bryson tells the story of how he got into racing along with the Shaffer family tradition of racing dating back to his grandad. His pre race routine, preparation for race weekend, role models, favorite drivers, and his racing goals are all hot topics as we dive into getting to know Bryson.
