Above-normal temperatures are expected this holiday weekend with triple-digit readings expected for much of the area. The threat of wildfires will remain elevated for most of the area. There will also be a slight chance of storms across the east, but most areas will remain dry. Remember to practice heat and fire safety if you have any outdoor plans this weekend.
