Dive into the insane, wild world of Edensin by sitting down and listening to some of the town's talk radio! With crazy situations, hilarious dialogue, and a whole lot of furious shouting, KDTF (Desert Talk Forum) is a call-in show hosted by James Clark (writer James Avestruz). One of the dumbest people in Edensin, who sadly and paradoxically believes himself to be the smartest. Joining him is Max (Max Henderson), a put-upon producer whose job is to keep James reined in and stop the show from going off the rails, which it constantly threatens to do.
A large ensemble cast joins James and Max playing the roles of a few of Edensin's inhabitants. Tommy Jax (Rob Stant), the rage-fueled pill-pushing bodybuilder from out of state. Dante Tonitini (Gianni Matragano), the mob boss whose shady business dealings are an open secret to the world and to the government. His daughter Tina (Cas Richardson), a shrill harpy with a dangerously short fuse and lack of concern for others' wellbeing. Jizz & Spooge (Ari Bloss & James Avestruz), a pair of shock jock radio hosts who run a more popular rival show in the same building as KDTF, who gleefully torment James and Max. These characters and many more give you a glimpse into some of the health-pipe-addled minds of the city.
Designed to endlessly loop while played in-game, KDTF's script has multiple backward and forward references between calls. And as you listen, the reoccuring characters will flesh out their messed up lives and thoughts, and the host gets to know (and "love") the town along with you.
From the in-studio hostage situation, to the man on the street segment that turns into a life or death chase, to the crypto dipshit trying to sell something they can't even describe, to the character who's convinced he's in a video game, KDTF's blend of situational comedy, expressive vocal performances and meta humor will delight listeners of every kind. If you've ever enjoyed talk radio in video games before, welcome home. This might be your favorite show yet. It's KDTF.

I really like the soundtracks in racing games that don't license their music. Especially those in Codemasters and Turn10's racing games, GRID/GRID 2 and Forza Motorsport 6. This song started out sounding kind of like a loading screen song for one of those games, but then it kinda morphed into sounding like part of a documentary where the beginning of a tech company is being talked about. I think I have unresolved problems that a doctor needs to address.

i have been looking at fiverr for like three days now and it still floors me how depressing it is, hundreds of creative people fighting over fucking $5 scraps, hundreds of people with after effects tutorial presets that will charge you $15 to replace an image in the preset and render the video, $5 more for HD. people who spend their days gussying up in the exact same outfit for the endless series of $5 videos they have to make, people lying about having twins so they can "make a video for you starring twins" and other insane shit. sometimes i think to myself i should cancel my internet service and fiverr.com helps push me towards that side of the fence

My third original track!
For this one, I wanted to make one of those songs that has a really big opening then drops to a more intimate, quiet version of the same theme. I actually started out wanting to do a big field song like Hyrule Field, with a snowy theme, which is why the earlier name of this track was Frosty Falls, but that concept quickly got away from me. I'll try again sometime!
I was inspired to do the big to small thing by Skyward Sword, which does some amazing things with music during important item pickup scenes, where the music will loop in a quieter version as you read the item description, and once you close that window it kicks back up. Once I realized what I had was starting to sound like Pokemon and Star Fox, I just rolled with it and renamed it All Spacecraft Report!

So with this one I wanted to do a sorta spooky kind of temple song. I didn't specifically have Zelda in mind, but once I found how nicely the kalimba and the Persian ney sound together, I was just thinking Skyward Sword the entire time I was writing. I really like this track, and I got it finished a lot faster than my first one, which is cool. It was also really fun recording inhale sounds to make the Persian ney sound a little more natural!

I picture this being the nighttime version of a really nice friendly town in the forest, maybe somewhat near the sea. I don't even know what to write about this one. It started out as a simple Space Jam mashup for a collab Tainic is working on, and quickly spiraled out of control, becoming what is arguably my most complex, chaotic megamix ever. There are a LOT of YTMND jokes in this track, which was unbelievably fun to put together. I got my start with internet comedy / audio editing / mashups on YTMND in 2005, and digging back into that well was like seeing old friends again. So much fun!
I don't think I'll ever be able to top this track as far as the sheer amount of sources used. Look at the insane track list below! I think I'm gonna start posting more original tracks and take a vacation from this kind of thing. That is, until I lose my mind and start an SMRPG collab album at some point!

I've been working on this track since March 19, trying desperately to figure out how long I wanted it to be and what the ending could possibly be since the original song is a loop that doesn't have one.
When I started making a couple breakthroughs, I noticed I was at 46,000 listens, and decided to knuckle down and get this shit finished for 50,000, and then I accidentally went on vacation and when I got home last night, I was at 51,300. You guys are unbelievable. RC2016 is composed by Michael Bross but the Groovitron music might not be, historically the disco music for the weapon has been sourced from production music libraries but who knows, the rest of the soundtrack is stellar buy it when it comes out

Made this one for a fun project! First time I've added custom music elements to a mashup project. The cymbal swells, crashes and a few deep synth notes in the first few seconds are all-new, fresh and delicious. This one was a lot of fun! Enjoy!

Does anyone have a lead on good software or VSTs for removing vocals from songs? Left channel minus right channel is okay, but leaves things a little tinny and mono.

Made this over 4 years ago. Something about Portal 2's music really struck me so after replaying the ending I wanted to see how much of the energy and foreboding of the music in the finale I could capture by remaking it. I still really like this! Got pretty close to the original when all I had was game recordings before the OST was released.
