Hi! We are back again with the 5th season.
Redwan who has been a resident in Madrid since 2011, has worked closely with several media as Geometrika FM, Abysmal, Forward, XXXO, Giradiscos, Electromagnética Radio and Clubbingspain. He is currently a member of Trauma, the collective which has brought to Madrid some of the best talents of the most risky techno.
Let me tell you about Redwan. As for Redwan, his influences come from Detroit (UR) to Berlin (Basic Channel, Tresor), through Birmingham, but always with the spotlight on the new mutations that techno offers. A really nice technique in the mix that in his own words, "the only premise has been to select some techno at a very low BPM, showing how it can be so mental and deep, and making body and mind dance together."

El sonido del riesgo es un estado comprometido, algo en apuro, de difícil definición, encuentro o delineación. El riesgo es aquello que te pone el pitido en la cabeza, el puñal en la garganta, de fácil pérdida y difícilmente verificable. El riesgo comporta un vértigo, una turbación; y por lo tanto un peligro: el impulso de dejarse caer, la atracción seductora de precipitarse en un arrebato, desdén y pasión quebradora. ABISMAL es el sonido de la caída, de un tiempo modificado, no-cognoscible y de una materia táctil pero invisible; es el pulso de una ciudad martilleante y el latido de su maquinaria chirriante; es la voz resonante de Madrid, que trae un presente avasallador e inmediato, que se abalanza tal cual sobre nuestros cuerpos. La voz es Resonancia: ABISMAL, corporeidad táctil; el refugio de la máscara y un ritual para cada noche, y para cada momento.

Aunque puede parecer exagerado, musicalmente hablando, no hay nada más después de la música electrónica. Nada. La manipulación de las señales eléctricas nos ha permitido generar ondas sonoras inexistentes en nuestra realidad, pero si en nuestra mente. Infinitos sonidos nunca oídos, que proporcionan a la música electrónica una paleta interminable. Esa es su gran belleza. El disfrute del sonido por sí mismo. Sin estribillos. Sin mensaje aparente. Pura abstracción. Y es el techno, para mí, la música que más se acerca a esa frontera final.
