The Japanese had just crippled the US Navy at Pearl Harbor and answers were few. One man and a team, Commander Joseph Rochefort, broke the Japanese JN-25 Code and the Battle of Midway had a very different turn out, sending 4 Japanese Fleet Carriers to the bottom of the Pacific and turning the war in our favor from that point on. Codes are used to hide the true meaning that they are seeking to keep hidden.
