Every once in awhile just gotta' grab a guitar and create a bit of handmade Music from the Heart. Joyous undertaking in rediscovering a song that speaks to my purest Acoustic center!

Recorded and shared this one a few years ago, but so love the tune it screamed to be re-recorded and ReMiXed with a more updated take. The Original Gem from Stephen Stills and his most talented compadres way back in The Day sounded like Americana in the early 70's when freshly minted. Certainly still stands 'The Test of Time' today. With all due respect and love in my heart, this is my own very best AcoustaTronic sketch of a CSN&Y Classic. It's a cut from their infamous "Deja' Vu" Album. Will never forget cracking open the cellophane wrapping the jacket sleeve of that faux-leather album as a High School Teenager. The insanely intoxicating fragrance of fresh vinyl permeated the air, as incredible musical strains of this masterpiece - and other innovative Classics - on that CSN (& sometimes Y) Disc just filled every little vacuous space within my pubescent mind, heart, and soul!

This particular tune just grabbed and tugged on me from the moment I first heard it and never let go. The original is a real beauty and a nominally produced song from Stephen Stills. Still love it today for its simplicity and absolute acoustic goodness. Hope my latest version is enjoyed by those that are kindred to this style? Kept it pretty basic. Mostly just adding some textures and ambient enhancements here and there. Tapped out the percussive Afrikaner Drums in Logic Pro X on a drum pad. Just seemed right for this one, especially!
