Rwanda's president, Paul Kagame has announced that Rwanda is considering scrapping visa fees for citizens of the Commonwealth, as well as the African Union and La Francophonie member countries. He made the announcement in London, while speaking about Rwanda's transformation journey. Two years ago the east African country started a global visa-free policy for all travellers in which all visitors could enjoy 30 days visa on arrival. However, citizens from some countries were required to pay a fee where applicable.
