Head of the UN food agency in Somalia says that more than five million people in Somalia do not have enough to eat and over a million require life-saving aid. The World Food Programme (WFP) and its partners are stepping up efforts to help communities cope with a severe drought exacerbated by El NiƱo weather conditions. The ability of communities who have lived through four successive poor rainy seasons has been "stretched to the limit".
