A Constitutional Court in Kenya will today begin hearing witness testimonies in a case filed by survivors of sexual violence during the 2007/8 Post-Election Violence. Eight survivors - among them six women and two men - filed the case in 2013, seeking an apology, compensation and reparations to the victims of the atrocities committed during the violence.
