Lawyers representing the SADC Commission have told the Lesotho High Court that it does not have jurisdiction to hear a case in which Lieutenant Colonel Tefo Hashatsi wants the Commission nullified. The Commission investigated Lesotho instability and the death of former commander Maaparankoe Mahao. The court granted an interdict for Hashatsi not appear before the Commission when it summoned him a second time in October, but his full application for the findings of the Commission to be thrown out is now in session.
