Results and responds are proofs that prayers are answered of the Lord. Because that puts it in the realm of a dialogue rather than a monologue. However, oftentimes, the results we seek to have and the response of God on a matter might be due to the motives behind our prayers. Why do you ask for what you ask for in the place of prayer or perhaps do the things you do?
Motives cuts much deeper and it is a thing weighed of the Lord constantly in the place of prayer (Prov 16:2). If there was ever anything to influence the response of your prayer; either negatively or positively, it would be the motives behind them. Your motives matter to God! Check them!
