Do you have a couple of weddings on the calendar to attend this year? Make sure you put some money away so you can afford them. A new study by Bankrate shows that wedding guests plan to spend an average of $611 per wedding this year. This includes an average of $287 on travel and accommodations, $180 on gifts, and $144 on attire and grooming. When it comes to gifts, Millennials plan to give the most expensive gifts: an average of $201 per wedding, compared with $180 for Gen X, $160 for boomers, and $157 for Gen Z. KRLD's John Liddle talked about the study with Ted Rossman, Senior Industry Analyst at Bankrate.
