Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) has signaled he will pardon Daniel Perry, who was convicted of murder in the 2020 shooting death of a protestor at a Black Lives Matter rally. Rice University political science professor Mark Jones says he's not surprised that Abbott is getting involved, just that he's doing it so quickly.
