There is some decent weather ahead in North Texas through at least Father's Day. Underneath upper-level ridges of high pressure, the air sinks, compresses, and heats up. It also inhibits clouds from forming. Afternoon highs through Monday will be in the mid-90s, with morning lows in the 70s, and not much wind until next week.
