Netball South Africa president Cecilia Molokwane has congratulated Spar Proteas goalkeeper Zanele Vimbela on joining UK netball side Team Bath Netball this week, and describes her move as a great achievement not only for Vimbela but also for netball in the country. Vimbela is set to play for the UK team for the remainder of the 2018 Vitality Netball Superleague season, which ends in July this year. Molokwane says Vimbela’s move proves that the quality of our players and the standard of netball in the country is improving. The 28 years old former Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) - Madibaz Netball player joins Spar Proteas team mates Karla Mostert and Lenize Potgieter at Bath. With a record five titles out of 12 campaigns, Bath is the most successful team in the Superleague’s 12 – year history.
