Springbok Sevens coach Neil Powell has lauded his team’s resolve and motivation after they successfully defended their Emirates Airline Dubai leg of the HSBC World Sevens Series with a 24-12 win over New Zealand in the final last night. The Blitzbokke who are also the defending world champions began the tournament slowly with an unconvincing win over Uganda but got stronger by the game which lived up to the pre-tournament hype around the team according to Powell.
