Springbok coach Allister Coetzee says they are in for a blockbuster opening fixture in the 2019 Rugby World Cup after it was announced that the Springboks will play against New Zealand on 21st September in 2019 at the International Stadium in Yokohama. The Springboks next match at the World Cup will be against the top qualifying African team on 28 September at the City of Toyota Stadium before taking on Italy on 4 October at the Shizouka Stadium Ecopa. The Springboks will finish pool matches with a clash against the repechage winner at Kobe Misaki Stadium where Coetzee used to coach the local side Kobe Steelers. Coetzee though believes they will take a lot of confidence from their recent one point loss against the All Blacks. Coetzee says they have a lot of respect for all the teams they will play against in their pool and that they will need to be well prepared and focused on winning all seven games if they are to lift the trophy at the end.
