Outgoing Bulls Super Rugby coach Nollis Marais says his team will need to work on their reaction speed and train harder to compete at the speed of Super Rugby after their 34-20 loss against the Hurricanes at Loftus Versfeld Saturday. Marais said they had outplayed the Hurricanes at certain stages of the game but their inability to keep up with the pace of the game cost them. He commended his team for their fighting spirit and character shown against the defending Super Rugby champions especially in light of their three match losing run and the off-the-field turmoil that has engulfed the Bulls in recent weeks leading to the appointment of former All Blacks coach John Mitchell as the Executive for Rugby at the Bulls.
