Western Province coach John Dobson was equally as frustrated with the poor performance of his team and conceded that the Kings pack of forwards was better than his. Dobson cited poor ball retention as a recurring problem for his side but did have encouraging words for the endevour they showed on attack. Dobson believes their inexperience at flyhalf is hampering them being able to control games. In the aftermath of the Eastern Province Kings 36-6 loss at the hands of Western Province in their Currie Cup encounter at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium yesterday, coach Barend Pieterse says the failure of individuals within their defensive system cost them dearly. Pieterse praised the bravery and passion shown by his team but says it is not enough to win them games.
