Auntie Jenny may no longer be with us but her spirit lives on, and her valuable contributions to the PPiPP Project will not go unseen or forgotten.

Jenny opened up to us about the high levels of violence, deep despair and poverty she had seen and experienced throughout her life. Members of Parliament are supposed to speak on behalf of the people, yet they are often very far removed from our lived realities and seem as if they have forgotten where they come from. She took us through how she felt during her very first visit to Parliament, which was facilitated by the PPiPP Project, and why she remained committed to parliamentary monitoring in spite of the frustration and hopelessness that this work brought on sometimes.
