It’s time now for our Throw Forward feature, where we telling you about the latest technology and trends. The South African Blood Service has come up with a brilliant and faster way to deliver emergency blood to hospitals in remote areas by using drones.

The drone can be loaded with four units of blood at a time and be steered remotely by a drone pilot. This of course will help with the current logistic problem of delivering blood to the furthest corners of country.
