It’s Take a Girl Child to Work Day today, is your office full of girls today? This initiative is aimed at broadening young girls’ horizons in South Africa and helping them explore a myriad of career opportunities from which they were previously excluded.

It’s regarded as one of South Africa’s largest collaborative acts of volunteerism, which has helped more than a million girls.

This year the campaign has a new shining example for the girls. She’s the first African female commercial pilot in South Africa. When she’s not busy flourishing, she’s flying airplanes for South African Airways as a Senior First Officer on the Airbus 340.
