NPO Day - Do South African NPOs have lots to celebrate and be happy about (when donors are cutting funding and government requirement are still so stringent on NPOs)? Are we (both society and government) undermining the role played by NGOs in alleviating poverty, upholding the dignity of our citizens and building communities? And why is it so difficult to register an NGO – when all that one wants is to do good?
