Netball South Africa President Cecilia Molokwane says preparations for the 2018 Diamond Challenge are going well. The tournament will be hosted in Seshego’s Ngoako Ramatlhodi Indoor Sports complex from 27 November until 1 December 2018. This edition will feature South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and SA President’s XII. Molokwane has thanked the parties organising this event saying their efficiency has not gone unnoticed. Molokwane further reveals that the South African national technical team will conduct selections on 22 November to give more players a chance at playing. Molokwane further says that the floor will be laid in the venue on the 22 November as well. With attendance a challenge in many sporting codes, Molokwane says the activism her federation is busy with will ensure there are people at the matches. The President also adds that should this event becomes successful it will open doors for other small cities to host international events. Molokwane also says the Federation will conduct coaching clinics with local clubs to empower them.
