Olympic champion Chad Le Clos believes that the scheduling of finals to be during the day in the South African Swimming Grand Prix is going to prepare them well for the Rio Olympics in Brazil later this year. Le Clos was commenting during the KwaZulu-Natal leg of the Grand Prix that started at the Kings Park Aquatics Centre in Durban last night and will go on until tomorrow afternoon. In Brazil later in August, some finals will be held after midnight a decision that has come under fire from the world’s swimming governing body as well as leading coaches and swimmers.
