(Netball) Following numerous postponements by Netball South Africa to launch the Netball Premier League (NPL) which dates back to April, it looks like the much anticipated women professional netball league will not take place as promised. Meanwhile Provincial Netball teams who were hoping to turn professional players should the NPL had kicked off are running into red figures. Most of the Provinces started preparing for the NPL as early as January, hosting numerous trials to assemble and strengthen their squads, this has become a nightmare as they have to accommodate players who coming from far.
