She had the world at her feet as a member of Clout, South Africa’s first all female rock group. Their number one hit, Substitute, featured highly on music charts worldwide. Behind the scenes, she was falling apart. From being robbed by her manager, abused by her lover and invaded by leukemia, Cindy has triumphed over all and is about to release a new single and go back on tour. Here she tells her story about she learned to live life on her own terms, for which she says, there really is no Substitute.
