When you find a highly talented associate to join your organization, you want them to flourish. Retention is a strategy that starts on day one and when you spend time developing your people it’s an easy task. But one of the quickest way to reverse retention of good people is to sit on them. I don’t mean literally, but not allowing them to move forward is a recipe for them walking out the door.
