Megan Conway, ATG’s access lead, speaks to Michael Blades about the ‘Sleeping Beauty - Relaxed Performances’ at Milton Keynes Theatre on Wed 6 Jan 2021 at 2:30pm. ‘Relaxed Performances’ are specifically designed to welcome young people with an Aut istic Spectrum Condition, learning disability or sensory and communication disorder into theatres to give those who otherwise might feel excluded the chance to experience live theatre. They have a less formal atmosphere in order to reduce anxiety levels.
