When we were young and playing in our backyards our imaginations were allowed to roam freely. We could be anything that we wanted to be and we could change our minds in the snap of your fingers. One minute we are standing on top of the mountain and we are king. The next moment we are guiding a train through the Appalachians. Cowboys and Indians, a fireman, a policeman, a doctor, nurse, construction worker, our imaginations were limitless. And then…LIFE. Before we knew it we were grown up and we had responsibilities, commitments, obligations and the once imagination has been tossed aside and we are given a reality check. Day in and day out it is the same ole same ole and before long there are no longer dreams and visions but the repeated mantra, “It is what it is, this is as good as it gets”. Why should we settle? Why can’t we achieve whatever we set our minds to? Are we to old to change? What about setting an example for our kids? Let's talk.
