One person has died after police fired rubber bullets at Wits University's protesting students at the Braamfontein campus. Wits students are unhappy with debt of over 150-thousand have been prevented from registering for the new academic year. They also claim that many students who've been accepted to study at Wits are not given accommodation and are forced to sleep in libraries on campus.
