The Mangaung Metro is expected to make an announcement over the fate of executive mayor Olly Mlamleli. The metro will hold a special council meeting this afternoon. Mlamleli was voted out last week Friday during a motion of no confidence. Some ANC Councillors voted with opposition parties to oust Mlamleli through a secret vote. Speaker Mxolisi Siyonzana is expected to officially announce the results at about 14h00 this afternoon. The motion comes after the municipality was downgraded twice by Rating Agency Moody's.
