South African Airways says it's considering various options presented by the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) to resolve the ongoing strike at the company. SAA management and striking unions met under CCMA mediation over the weekend to end the crippling wage strike. Briefing the media at its headquarters in Kempton Park, the airline assured passengers of its commitment to safety and demanded the unions retract statements alleging that passenger safety could be compromised during the strike.
