A KwaZulu-Natal minority rights group is considering opening a case against EFF leader Julius Malema for his statement that Indians are racist. Malema was speaking during his party's Youth Day commemoration event in Klerksdorp in the North West Province this past weekend. Chairperson of the South African Minority Rights Equality Movement (samrem), Daleep Lutchman, says they will be meeting soon to decide what charges to press against Malema for what they say is his use of an apartheid system of classifying people by race.
