Richard Feynman was an American physicist and teacher. He developed a technique which helps make learning easier. First, identify a topic. Write down whatever you know about the topic. Every time you find something related to the topic, write it down. Second, try teaching it to a child. While teaching to a child, use as many simple words as possible. Do not use complex language. The attention span of a child is not that long, so try explaining the concept before, the child gets distracted. Third, identify what you’re missing. Fill in these gaps of knowledge from books or the Internet, whichever you feel comfortable with. Then, try making a story. Use your notes and bring your knowledge together. Practise explaining it as if you were speaking to a whole classroom. You can find out the difficulties you are having that way. Feynman said that if you know nothing about Physics, you just have to understand that everything in the universe is made of atoms. You don’t have to restrict yourself to only one technique every time you learn. There are many ways of learning out there in the world. Maybe you could invent your own technique of learning too!
