Small business has been the backbone of economic stability and the Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women (IEEW) believes that women are the key to the development and stability of business in emerging economies. Under the umbrella of IEWW, Peace Through Business empowers women economically, socially and politically. Currently, US business women entrepreneurs work mentoring and training women business entrepreneurs in Rwanda and Afghanistan to sharpen their business skills and take their company to a new level of success. Each student is paired with a U.S. woman business entrepreneur in a like industry. The student shadows her mentor at home and at work.The conclusion of the program is back in Dallas Texas for a two-day International Economic Summit followed by graduation hosted by A T & T.
