The Mayor of the DA-EFF run Modimolle-Mokgoopong municipality in Limpopo says the amalgamation of the two municipalities has created financial problems for them. Marlien Van Staden was speaking to our presenter Stephen Kirker. The two municipalities were bankrupt before they were merged following the 2016 local government elections. The municipality's employees have embarked on a go-slow after failure to pay them.
