Nompilo Nkosi, the family member of one of the survivors in the Esidimeni tragedy, Sizwe Nkosi, who suffers from autism, and was moved to Cullinan centre in 2016 has testified that she wrote letters to the offices of the President, the Minister of Health Dr. Aaron Motsoaledi and organised multiple protests to the department of health's office in an effort to prevent patients from being moved from Esidimeni. Nkosi who was being taken through an open letter that she sent to the Minister of Health.
