Zimbabwe's ZANU PF Politburo has expelled Emmerson Mnangagwe as the party's vice president. President Robert Mugabe sacked him as the deputy president on Monday. Mnangagwa has fled to South Africa after claiming that he has been receiving death threats. He has issued a direct challenge to Mugabe and his wife Grace, saying he will return to Zimbabwe to lead ZANU-PF party members.
