The Pan African Psychology Union has started its three day congress in Durban to address some of the biggest mental health problems in Africa. Leaders in the psychology field are taking stock of the state of psychology on the continent with the aim of improving mental health care. Recent trends have raised concerns over mental illnesses such as depression becoming number one debilitating desease world wide in the near future.
