The community of the Mpungutyane Administrative area outside Mt Frere in the Eastern Cape is in shock following the brutal murder of a 35-year-old woman. It's alleged that the victim from Mpamba Village was stabbed and had her throat slit before her flesh was eaten by the alleged perpetrator in a house in town. This case comes hot on the heels of several others that have been reported in KwaZulu Natal where a man handed himself over to the people after confessing to eating human flesh. It has also emerged that a community in Amangwe in the same province has been practicing cannibalism. In Limpopo police are investigating after it emerged that graves were violated in search of body parts. Police are now looking for 23-year-old Daniel Nephawe from Tshitavha village who may have important information on the cases as well as Eric 'Mapepe" Kwinda a traditional healer.
