Municipal offices have been re-opened in Vuwani in Limpopo with service provision expected to start today. Limpopo MEC for Cooperative Governance Makoma Makhurupetja stated that this indicates that government has heeded calls by residents to have their area serviced by the Vhembe District Municipality and not the LIM345 municipality. Residents of Vuwani have been protesting against the Municipal Demarcation Board's decision to incorporate some parts of Vuwani into the newly established municipality.
