Former Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan says current leaders have failed to uphold the highest levels of ethical leadership. He was speaking at a panel discussion to mark the commemoration of the Nelson Mandela Day in Rivonia, north of Johannesburg. Gordhan who was fired by President Jacob Zuma from cabinet in March, has been one of the most outspoken ANC senior leaders against alleged state capture and corruption. Gordhan says the party has forgotten about the people. To put the issue of the so-called leadership crisis and monopoly capital into persepctive, we spoke to political analyst Dumisani Hlophe.
