Johannesburg Water says the city uses 1.5 billion litres of water a day with business being the biggest consumer. The company says businesses are not allowed to use sprinklers on their companies gardens at all times. There have been no water restrictions in the city in recent weeks due to satisfactory water levels from supplying resevoirs. Lack of rain and leakages in the water system has left most parts of the country with restricted water supply.
