The South African Human Rights Commission says they cannot rule out the possibility that the recent unrest at Soweto, south of Johannesburg is related to xenophobia. Over 80 foreign-owned shops have been looted in the area this week and at least 120 people have been arrested. It's believed the looting began after a 14-year-old boy was shot and killed allegedly by a Somali shop owner. A foreign national was also killed in the violence.
