Parliament has noted statements made by National Coloured Congress Member of Parliament Mr Fadiel Adams during his appearance before the Madlanga Commission this morning, in which he attributed delays in accessing correspondence from the Commission to persistent problems with his Parliament-issued laptop.
The Speaker of the National Assembly, Ms Thoko Didiza, has received and noted a communication from the Secretary-General of the African National Congress (ANC), Mr Fikile Mbalula, concerning the recommendation of an Evidence Leader for the Section 89 Impeachment Committee.

The 58th Plenary Assembly of the SADC Parliamentary Forum concluded today with a powerful mandate to act on an urgent agenda for climate resilience, governance reform and regional integration.
Hosted in eThekwini from 30 November to 4 December 2025, the Assembly focused on the theme, “The Impact of Climate Change on Women and Youth in the SADC Region and the Role of Parliaments.”
Delegates declared that women and youth bear the heaviest burden of the climate crisis, including confronting the devastating realities of droughts, cyclones and floods. In response, the Assembly resolved to champion gender-responsive and youth-centred legislation to ensure that climate action protects the most vulnerable.
The Speaker of the National Assembly, Ms Thoko Didiza, today told parliamentarians attending the 58th Southern African Development Community Parliamentary Forum (SADC-PF) Plenary Assembly, that South Africa was making tangible progress in implementing resolutions adopted at the 57th SADC-PF Plenary Assembly held in Zimbabwe in June this year.
Parliament has noted with great concern the incidents of intimidation and threats directed at Members of Parliament in the course of their work.
