Despite global progress, 180 million children in 37 countries face bleaker prospects than their parents did twenty years ago. This according to an analysis conducted for World Children's Day by the United Nations child agency, UNICEF. The agency is commemorating the day, which marks the anniversary of the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
