When approaching ambient mixes, I like to incorporate emotive tracks, this could be exploring deep melancholic sounds as well as more melodic and uplifting pieces. I also like to try and create some tension with darker atmospheric sections so hopefully these things come through. You will find field recordings, parts of film scores and other samples as well as my own track edits, the idea being to create a style of space, nature and cinematic moments.

The working title of this mix was 'Hope Springs Eternal', this is the mantra from my favourite film of all time, there's another clue in the track list to work out what that is...
