Jay Strydom - CEO of Liv Lanseria project They have been running a community feeding support campaign. They give food buckets to 130 families in the Joe Slovo community whose children attend LIV’s Community Afterschool, Ithuteng. Additionally, they give food to 315 plots in Joe Slovo. This mean that they are able to feed around 1500 people. Their community has an unemployment rate of up to 70% and many of the 30% are wage workers. This has left people destitute and many of their children are not eating during this period.
