Elijah and Jammz are bringing the Yellow Squares project to the album format with 'Make The Ting'. Listen to lead single 'Close The App' below.
Elijah announced the collaborative full-length on Instagram yesterday, 27th March, saying he "reached out to Jammz about expanding the music universe for the squares following a one off we did together last year 'Yellow Square'."
Two weeks later, the pair had formulated the album over iMessage and Zoom calls, with grime MC Jammz turning the London artist, writer and lecturer's educational social media posts, talks, texts and interviews into lyrics. They recorded the LP in just one day at Ten87 Studios with dubstep and grime producer Joker handling mastering.
The eight-track album, out 30th June via Elijah's label also called Make The Ting, features beats and production by DJ Q, Royal-T, Jack Dat, Hitman Tiga & Insomniak, Gesher, Cory Syx and Blay Vision, who also contributed to 'Yellow Square'.
Elijah started the Yellow Squares project on Instagram and Twitter in summer 2021, initially sharing photos of yellow Post-It notes with thoughts and ideas. It evolved in 2022 to the educational and motivational hub for artists and creatives that it is today, plus in-person and digital events, editorial features and art.

So.. we are back for our first release of 2020 and bring with us an amazing artists know and Pluralist. This man has been an unstoppable force in our eyes for the last year or so, his percussion game and groove is something to be really intrigued about.
We welcome his 'Sanctions' EP with absolute pleasure. Rex Domino and Done have also been working alongside him on some of the music, which has completely blown us away.
